Unidrive SP AC Drive from Emerson/Control Techniques is a complete drive automation range that covers the power spectrum from 0.5 to 2,900 hp. All drives share the same flexible control interface regardless of the power rating. Drives are packaged in three formats: Panel Mount, Free Standing and Modular.

Control Techniques Unidrive Sp

Unidrive SP Panel Mount drives are standard AC input, AC output modules for installation within a control panel. The AC modules are easy to install and commission and can be applied in a wide range of applications. Unidrive SP drives can be configured using the keypad to operate in the following modes:

  • Open loop V/Hz AC drive
  • Open loop Vector AC drive
  • Closed loop AC drive
  • AC servo amplifier for rotary and linear motors
  • Regenerative (Active) power supply

Three Control Techniques click-in option module slots allow the drive to be uniquely customized to your application allowing you to select the level of programmable control, connectivity and I/O you need.

Unidrive SP Free Standing drives offer a fully engineered drive that is supplied within a standard sized enclosure. Free Standing drives can be ordered to include all of the power input equipment needed to allow immediate connection to the motor and to the power supply.

The Unidrive SPM (Modular) AC power modules provide the same advanced control feature set as our Panel Mount AC drives but with additional power system flexibility; the AC drives may be arranged to provide a common DC bus system with or without an active front end (regenerative, 4 quadrant operation). Very high current motors may be controlled using a multi-drive modular arrangement.
